These nozzles eliminate the finer droplets that are associated with conventional nozzles so reducing spray drift and allowing spraying in more marginal conditions when drift would be unacceptable with conventional flat fans.

Traditionally they have been used for spraying against easier targets such as soil application and larger plants and weeds.

However Hypro's developments in air-inclusion technology mean that drift-reducing nozzles are now offered with finer spray quality and can therefore be used effectively across a much wider spectrum of targets.
