Hypro EU Limited (formerly Lurmark) is the European business of Hypro LLC, a world leading producer of pumps, spray nozzles, and spraying accessories for agricultural and industrial markets. Hypro is part of the Water Division of Pentair Inc.

Hypro products are fitted by the world’s leading manufacturers of spray equipment.

Hypro works closely with its customers to develop specialized nozzle designs, manufactured in a wide range of materials in order to fulfill their specific and often unique requirements. Markets served include crop spraying, fire suppression, evaporative cooling, dust suppression, paint pre-treatment and gas scrubbing for pollution control.

As part of a multi-national business, Hypro products and processes must achieve the most stringent quality standards ensuring accurate and reliable product performance for our customers.

History

Hypro-EU Limited was established in 1954 as Lurmark to manufacture a range of agricultural spray nozzles for the emerging agrochemical spray market.

In 2000 the company was acquired by Hypro LLC and added their range of industry leading roller, centrifugal, diaphragm, turbine, piston, plunger, gear and impeller pumps. In addition, Hypro offers a full range sprayer parts and spraying accessories drawn from the world’s leading suppliers.

Hypro was acquired in 2004 by Pentair.  Pentair employs 12,000 people worldwide in all areas of industrial and domestic fluid handling technology and is a worldwide leader in pumps, filtration, pool products and electronic enclosures, with global revenue of $3.35 billion (2007).
